There’s a lot on right now. Four licensed charity lotteries are selling tickets, with more than $1.8 million in prizes between them: a furnished home, a boat and ute package, a classic Japanese sports car and a new hybrid SUV. Coastguard’s $260,000 lottery closed on 2 October.
Every one of them raises money for a registered charity, and every one is listed in our NZ Charity Lottery Directory. We check each lottery against the charity’s own terms and the DIA rules before we list it, including the rule that prizes must be worth at least 20% of ticket sales.
